China¨s Crude Steel Production in January 2005: 25,095,300 tons

 

 
    
According to the latest statistics, China¨s crude steel production of January 2005 continued upward trend set in the past month, with total production of 25,095,300 tons, up 24.34% from the same period of last year.
Of the total production, finished steel products accounted for 26,110,100 tons, up 25.37%. In the breakdown by items, rail products 231,000 tons, up 34.93%; wire rods totaled 4,248,600 tons, up 19.84%; heavy plates totaled 713,300 tons, up 10.38%; hot rolled sheets totaled 260,200 tons, up 41.57%; cold rolled sheets totaled 598,300 tons, up 45.71%; galvanized sheets totaled 577,000 tons, up 72.6%; coated sheets totaled 108,800 tons, up 46.43%; seamless pipes totaled 785,900 tons, up 38.29%; welded pipes totaled 869,400 tons, up 101.39%.
