China's Crude Steel Production in November 2003: 20,491,500 ton

 

 
    
According to the latest statistics, China's crude steel production of November 2003 continued upward trend set in the past month, with total production of 20,491,5 tons, up 23.34% from the same period of last year. The year to date (YDT) figure was set at 200,197,000 tons, up 21.53%.
Of the total production, finished steel products accounted for 21,287,800 tons, up 28.25%; YTD figures at 213,755,200 tons, up 21.54%. In the breakdown by items, rail products 136,300 tons, up 5.01% and YTD figures (1,704,000 tons) down 0.95%; wire rod totaled 3,558,000 tons, up 13.36% and YTD figures (36,600,300 tons) up 12.93%; medium and heavy plate totaled 3,006,000 tons, up 49% and YTD figures (29,767,100 tons) up 32.51%; sheet products totaled 2,021,400 tons, up 12.41% and YTD figures (21,808,500 tons) up 6.22%; seamless pipes totaled 619,900 tons, up 25.89 and YTD figures (6,344,600 tons) up 13.32%; welded pipes totaled 969,500 tons, up 19.82% and YTD figures (9,593,900tons) up 30.1%.
