ChinaEsteel (www.chinaesteel.com or www.chinaesteel.com.cn) is a professional steel website approved by the former State Administration of China Metallurgical Industry, aiming to provide timely, authoritative and comprehensive information service to business units as well as individuals in both domestic and overseas metallurgical industry.

Steel Industry is the nucleus of our business. Launched on 16^th May 2001 by China Metallurgical Information Center, ChinaEsteel has evolved to be the sole professional steel database in China, releasing firsthand, detailed and in-depth information resources to domestic and overseas customers. Our service includes news, feature studies, statistics, metallurgical translation and customized consultancy etc.

Data in ChinaEsteel involve all aspects of the steel industry, ranging from production, distribution, import & export, downstream consumption, steelmaking material, negotiated and transaction steel prices directly from the exchanges, to fundamental market analysis.

Our Membership now has been enlarged to include customers from over 50 key large and medium-sized Chinese steelmakers such as Wuhan Iron & Steel Group Corporation (WISCO), Shanghai Baosteel Group (Baosteel), Anshan Iron & Steel Group Corporation (Anshan Steel), Shougang Iron & Steel Group Corporation etc.
